This year’s DCPFAF features a four-day architectural exhibit at the District Architecture Center in Chinatown, a center operated by the DC chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The exhibition spotlights a hundred years of Palestinian architecture from historic to contemporary Palestine across the diaspora. Guests will explore home as an architectural, environmental, and human experience vis-à-vis the Palestinian narrative.

PORTAL TO  PALESTINE + THE DIASPORA

In cooperation with   SHARED STUDIOS,  an interactive pop-up Portal with audio-visual technology will connect visitors with members of the Palestinian community in identical portals in Gaza, Palestine, New York City, and Milwaukee. Every day at noon, Performances at the Portal will feature collaborative performances between artists in Gaza and DC.
